Operalta

Ecosystem

Share what you choose, with the people you choose.

Partners, advisors, investors, portfolio teams — the people who matter to a decision are rarely all inside. Bring them in without opening the workspace.

Controlled diffusion

Nothing leaves by accident

Publication is the boundary

Company information crosses into a shared space only when someone publishes it. There is no ambient visibility to inherit and nothing leaves by default.

Scope a person, not just a role

A member can hold the whole workspace, a named set of Rooms, or published material only — and be marked as internal, investor, buyer, advisor or guest.

Access you can take back

A Room is opened to a named person, who accepts it, and it can be revoked without touching anything else. A shared link is the other route, and it can carry an expiry date.

The boundary holds for agents too

An agent acting for an external member is checked when it calls a tool, not only when a page loads, and an unresolved membership is treated as external.

Annotations

They answer on the exact passage, not in a reply-all

Someone you shared with highlights a sentence, a number, or a claim and leaves a note on it. You set who can see the thread — internal, founder, advisor, investor — and it survives the next version of the report.

Communities

Go further than sharing a document

When partners, influencers, or a cohort should work together rather than just receive, open a Community — a shared space with its own members, without opening private company work.

Your company workspace

Your private work: memory, metrics, documents, decisions. Your team, and nobody else. Opening a Community changes nothing here.

You publish

The Community workspace

A different place, with its own members, its own directory and its own Rooms. Members enter it from their own switcher and never see the workspace on the left.

A Community is a separate workspace, not a room inside yours — and it is entirely optional. If you never open one, none of this exists for your company.

A space of their own

Members get a workspace they enter from their own switcher, with a People directory and the Community’s name and logo — and no access to your private company work.

Governed admission

People arrive by import, invitation, or a stable application page. Administrators ask their own profile questions, review applications, and approve who joins.

Real work, not a mailing list

Focused Rooms carry chat, documents, matrices and reports created by the Community itself, so shared intelligence accumulates in one place.

Pick the vocabulary

A Community can be general, a classroom, a cohort, or an alumni group. The kind changes the words and which surfaces appear. The rules are the same either way.

Company types

Everyone keeps their own words

A fund, an accelerator, a venture studio, a family office, a foundation, a public body and a classroom do not work the same way, and Operalta does not pretend they do. The type you pick changes the words, the pages, and the setup you start from — so a partner you invite lands somewhere that already speaks their language.
